There are things that people hide, exaggerate, or only partly show in order to portray a ‘better’ image and to be liked. Nevertheless, I believe that everyone is equally as good as they are bad, it’s just the specifics of the ‘good’ aspects and the ‘bad’ aspects vary between each person. And maybe I’m deluding myself in order to maintain stability, but keeping such a thought in mind helps me not get too insecure over other people, thinking that they’re better than me. It works the other way, too, so I don’t get too cocky or ahead of myself.
